Mike Chirveno helps business leaders build the business they’ve always dreamed of. After 24 years in a publicly traded company with responsibilities in operations, strategy, and project management, he returned to his family’s entrepreneurial roots and started his own consulting business. Since 2006, he’s worked with business owners and executives across the US helping them accurately assess where they are now, identify where they want to be, and build a solid plan to get them from the former to the latter.
Mike has worked with startups, family businesses, publicly traded companies, government agencies, and not for profits. His industry experience has spanned hospitality, fresh produce, food production, consumer packaged goods, mortgages, publishing, automotive, construction, medical, professional services, engineering, and more. A typical consulting engagement spans the disciplines of culture, people, value creation, fiscal discipline, marketing, execution, and metrics.
Mike has a BS in education from Calvary University and an MBA from Keller Graduate School. He is an adjunct faculty member at Baker University where he teaches graduate students strategic planning. He is the author of the One-Year, Thirty-Minute Business Transformation. He lives in Kansas City, MO with his wife Leslie. He has two adult children and three grandchildren.
“We have enjoyed working with Mike. He has helped us bring clarity to our Mission and Vision for the company. His guidance with evaluating our employee development plans and implementing a process has been very helpful and we have gotten good feedback from our employees on the new process. He has helped us stay “on-task” which was needed in order to get this accomplished.”
